Stories with humor & heart.
I write children's books where narrators break the fourth wall, wrong guesses find right answers, and every laugh lands somewhere warm. More than a dozen manuscripts and counting.
The author
After 15+ years in the corporate world, I traded boardrooms for board books — well, mostly picture books, but that isn't as catchy.
What began as a creative outlet became a calling. I've completed more than a dozen manuscripts (several with series potential), joined SCBWI, and immersed myself in critique groups. As a parent who cherishes storytime, I write the kind of books that make reading the best part of the day: interactive formats, narrators who break the fourth wall, and at least one joke the grown-ups will want to steal for later.
When I'm not writing, you'll find me on the softball field coaching my daughters — which turns out to be just another critique group, only louder, dirtier, and far less forgiving of my puns.
Stepping up to the plate first
There's a place where kids can be loud, get dirty, steal (bases!), and never, ever give up. A rule-breaking rally cry for every kid who plays like winning is optional but joy is not.

After the kids are asleep
I also write literary fiction for adults — darker stories about complicated people and the moments that change them.
